Pinot noir has always been at home in Barbaterre. The Pèder, the “Father” has character, does not want to imitate illustrious versions of the most famous territories or adapt to the interpretations of others. Péder gives life to a wine that maintains the characteristics of the pinot noir unaltered connecting them to the characteristics of the territory. Great finesse, measured taste, all with the imprint of the territory in which it is grown.
Peder is a faithful expression of the vine that finds an original and inspired home in the Reggio hills. Here the vineyards of Barbaterre, characterized by a unique microclimate, have their roots in clay-limestone soils, typical expression of the Matildic lands.

Delicate dishes based on red meats and feathered game, medium-aged cheeses.

Tasting notes

The color is a delicate and bright ruby. Notes of wild berries, light notes of undergrowth and spices are recognizable. In the mouth it is fine but intense, rich in fruit, with the “signature” of the land in the sapid and mineral finish.
